I’m Holly Draper, a full-time 6–12 art teacher with 10+ years of classroom experience, an AP Reader for the College Board, and current Department Head at my school. I specialize in helping students strengthen technical skills, build confidence, and prepare portfolios for AP, college, or personal growth.

One-on-One Tutoring – $75/hour
Customized lessons for skill-building, portfolio prep, or enrichment. -
Small Group Lessons (2–4 students) – $40/student per hour
Collaborative sessions that combine individual feedback with group learning. -
6-Week Themed Course – $500/student
Six one-hour sessions on focused topics such as abstract painting, drawing fundamentals, or portfolio development.

Student Work Examples
6th Grade-- Hokusai-inspired Waterfalls (and a teapot =) )
Objective: Use acrylic and paint pen to capture both static texture and physical movement.

7th Grade-- Micron and Sharpie Shoe Compositions
Objectives: Learn how to arrange a composition to achieve balance and visual rhythm. Learn how to use pens to layer up shading and implied texture.

8th Grade-- Experimental Media
A couple different projects that emphasize experimental application of materials and more complex layering processes.

High School - Advanced Placement
In AP classes students pursue independent studies based on their skills and interests.
